I'm very excited about Kamala Harris.
I actually am a bit shocked, to be honest, how quickly and effortlessly the Democrats managed to quell their infighting regarding her potential candidacy, and took a note or two from the Republican messaging strategy by deciding on what the message is, who the candidate is, and getting behind it practically in lock-step to advocate for her over Joe Biden. There were a million and a half ways that this transition could have fallen apart and confirmed voters worst suspicions about Democrats being incapable of getting behind a single strategy, but somehow they pulled it off, and we no longer have to justify voting for a corpse for no other reason than he's not the other, much shittier corpse.
Thank you Democrats, for doing it right. This one time.
Now stop supporting Israel. (Who am I kidding that'll never happen).
Anyways.
It's a good goddamn thing that the Democrats picked this time to give off the impression that they have their shit together, because this election is vastly different than almost all the elections before it. Sure, every election is basically the process of Super PACS and private billionaire donors floating their preferred candidate for the American population to decide on, and this time isn't really different than that, except for who the PACS and billionaire donors are, what they want, what they're willing to do to get it, and what they have already set in motion.
I don't have to explain Donald Trump to anyone reading this, it's well known that he doesn't believe in rules or laws or really anything that isn't immediately serving him. Defeating Donald Trump is easy. If it wasn't for the electoral college, it would have happened twice already. The policies he "supports" genuinely are not popular, his personality only appeals to the dumbest people you've ever met in your life (yes, even the "smart" ones), and overall the idea of his candidacy started as a meme and remains a meme. Donald Trumps existence in the political sphere is not an anomaly, he is the human manifestation of every person and organiza, tion that fundamentally disagrees with the concept of democracy, foreign and domestic, and is willing to act on their behalf to the tune of whatever dollar amount he's offered to advocate for their positions. He exists purely as a vessel for the hyper-rich to feed hate and divisive rhetoric to the hyper-poor in order to manipulate them into voting for policies that benefit they, the hyper-rich.
Donald Trump is not who Kamala Harris and the Democrats need to defeat. We need to defeat the grotesque dungeon of pressed khaki and button down wearing pseudo-religious, deep in the closet, extraordinarily fucking weird and woman hating and cop-dick-sucking- dude-bros that masquerade as constitutional originalists, and their equally weird ideological counterparts that have made millions of dollars sitting in front of a podcast microphone pontificating to massive audiences about how much better life would be if black people didnt exist and woman were forced to be brood mares for the state. These cretins and their media empire of intentional dis-information are largely funded by conservative think tanks like The Heritage Foundation.
The Heritage Foundation are the architects of Project 2025, a self proclaimed "presidential transition project" that seeks to do something that no political organization has ever threatened to do: completely and utterly remove every institution and official position related to the democratic process and replace them with ideological sycophants and loyalists, a concept of governance most popularized by the Nazis.
You've most likely heard of some iteration of Project 2025, and the policies they're promising to enact should Trump win (or if he doesn't). The document itself released by the Heritage Foundation is over 900 pages long, in what I personally assume is their way of averting the average persons eyes and attention span from consuming and comprehending this text, which is a step by list on how a small group of federalist society adjacent neckbeards want to destroy the concept of populism and replace it with federal fealty to the concept of what a country "should be", according to them.
What does that look like? Here's a few bullet points:
On the complete and total elimination of womens healthcare: “The CDC should eliminate programs and projects that do not respect human life and conscience rights and that undermine family formation. It should ensure that it is not promoting abortion as health care. It should fund studies into the risks and complications of abortion and ensure that it corrects and does not promote misinformation regarding the comparative health and psychological benefits of childbirth versus the health and psychological risks of intentionally taking a human life through abortion.”
Project 2025 will eliminate the medical process of abortion, regardless of reason, and will eliminate access to reproductive healthcare.
Project 2025 will utilize the US military in order to carry out military operations on US citizens, with the express purpose of creating a humanitarian crisis within US borders. Their definition of who qualifies as an immigrant or a "true American" will change as time goes on.
Project 2025 on the formation and sustainability of labor unions: It’s ugly: abolish overtime pay laws, outlaw public sector unions entirely, get rid of health and safety protections, eliminate the federal minimum wage, make it harder to receive unemployment, and put children back to work like in the 1920s.
Project 2025 will abolish the concept of labor unions, labor protections, overtime pay, benefits, minimum wage, and child labor laws.
Project 2025 will eliminate Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. They are messaging that such social safety nets are socialism. These programs will be "replaced" by private entities.
It's Already Happening
All that sounds scary, right? Theres no way that they've been able to gain any traction with any policies like this, right?
Right?
You're wrong. They already have passed several measures through the captured supreme court that are designed to empower things like private prisons.
Like this recent SCOTUS decision: The Supreme Court says cities can punish people for sleeping in public places
Project 2025 already has criminalized the concept of being homeless, this is designed to fill the private prison system. It is important to remember that slavery is not illegal in the US as long as its punishment for a crime.
How about the SCOTUS decision on the Chevron Deference?
Project 2025 has already assured that federal agencies are toothless, and legal interpretations are left up to sycophants and judges, functionally eliminating the the concept of law enforcers understanding the laws they are enforcing.
Then we have the cherry on top of the shit sunday: The Supreme Court ruled in Trump v. United States (2024) that all presidents have absolute criminal immunity for official acts under core constitutional powers, presumptive immunity for other official acts, and no immunity for personal actions.
Project 2025 has already assured that the preferred President is immune to the law.
Immune to the law.
Immune to the law.
You got that, right?
You're understanding this?
Immune to the law.
Project 2025 and the Heritage Foundation are telling you, the American citizen, that if they win, they will install a dictator who is considered to be above any and all laws.
The President of the United States could instruct the military to drop bombs on an elementary school, and that would be considered an "official action" by the Supreme Court.
So, the Heritage Foundations number one political candidate saying some shit like this suddenly becomes the least surprising thing you've ever heard these scumbags say:
Heres the president of the Heritage Foundation regarding Project 2025:
They are planning to execute a Coup
It's genuinely weird that the authors of Project 2025 decided to actually release the document in full. It's even weirder that they've been marketing it. The Heritage Foundation and Donald Trump understand very well that this plan is not popular, so there's no real reason why they would bother releasing information about it unless they weren't concerned about the average person knowing about it.
That's to say, they aren't presenting Project 2025 to the American public with the intention of making you believe it would benefit your life positively.
They are presenting Project 2025 as a reality that the average person has to accept, rather than something they want. The Heritage Foundation is planning a coup in the United States, and this coup is designed to usurp any and all political power, in order to convert the United States from a democratic system where leaders are decided by the population, to an autocratic system of religious theocracy where political decisions are based off the subjective religious beliefs of whatever fucking weirdo happens to be in office at the time.
Thanks to Mitch Mcconnel, the Supreme Court of the United States is already sand-bagged with shit-heads like Thomas, Alito and Roberts, who's positions in the court are already compromised by bribes and ideological fealty to the kind of religious fealty that The Heritage Foundation and Project 2025 requires.
The Heritage Foundation has already captured the most influential court in the United States.
As I started with, I'm very exicted about Kamala Harris.
That being said, Kamala Harris and the Democrats are not prepared for whats coming. A coup of this magnitude has never been attempted in the United States before, and I genuinely don't think that most people are ready for what they are going to see in November.
I hope I'm wrong. I so hope I'm wrong.
However, when the President of the organization planning a coup on the US government feels confident enough to make statements like "it will be bloodless if you let it", then you have two jobs this November:
Job number one: Get your ass to the voting booth.
Job number two: Get your ass to the gun store.
Job number three: Hope to God you don't have to use it.
