Donald John Trump, a guy whose totally fucked
I can't believe it.
Well, I mean, I can. I've been waiting for this moment for *years*.
I just can't believe the day has arrived. It almost doesn't feel real.
Donald John Trump, a man given the nickname "Teflon Don" as a result of his seemingly infinite greasiness that allows him to slip through the cracks in Americas justice system like coagulated bacon fat melting into a radiator, has finally been met with a legal challenge that he's about as likely to get out of alive as the first responders to the Chernobyl explosion.
Despite efforts by multiple prosecution attempts in the past, including appointed special investigator Robert Mueller, 2 impeachments while President, 17 indictments of his organization for fraud, a guilty verdict in the E. Jean Carrol rape case, an entire congressional committee created to investigate the attempted coup on January 6th, and a myriad of other breaches of ethical, moral, and legal boundaries that always seemed to end in disappointment, it would appear the fuse has finally reached the bomb.
Enter Jack Smith.
For anyone not as terminally addicted to this bullshit as I am, allow me to introduce you to Mr Smith.
Jack Smith, prosecutor for The Hague
Jack Smith is not just an ordinary prosecutor. In fact, Robert Muellers track record pales in comparison. Mueller may have been responsible for taking down John Gotti, but Jack Smith is known for hunting bigger fish.
In case you aren't aware, The Hague is an international criminal court where violent dictators are convicted of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Jack Smith was instrumental in the conviction of Hashim Thaçi, the genocidal president of Kosovo who was found guilty of not only being directly responsible for the assassination of over 100 people, but also the disappearance of his political adversaries and a myriad of other corruption crimes that ultimately led Thaci to appear at The Hague and face penalties of the highest magnitude.
Make no mistake, there are very few, if any, prosecutors in the entire world that have the type of experience that Smith does. There is no higher authority in the entire world than the International Criminal Court
This is the man who just brought 37 airtight charges against Donald John Trump in the case of stolen, top secret information. Not just that case, but Smith is also participating in the case of the attempted coup on January 6th.
In other words, Donald John Trump is incapable of mounting a defense against this case.
Donald John Trump, 45th President of the United States, is completely and utterly fucked.
The Evidence
In an unbelievably scathing unsealed indictment that is a whopping 49 pages long , the veteran war crime prosecutor and his team describe exactly 37 charges committed by the 45th president in the realm of boxes of top-secret, SCIF level documents that he was keeping in his Mar-a-Lago property for reasons ranging from an excuse to brag to his friends about having top-secret information, to the potential 2 billion dollar sale of god knows what information to one of Americas biggest adversaries, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
The charges are as follows:
Charges 1-31 are related to the willful retention of classified documents related to national defense. Each charge here can result in 10 years per.
Charge 32 is related to Obstruction of Justice, max sentence of 20 years.
Charge 33 is another iteration of willful retention of classified documents related to national defense, max sentence of 10 years.
Charge 34 is corruption in relation to retaining sensitive documents related to national security, max sentence 20 years.
Charge 35 is an intentional attempt to conceal the possession of classified documents from federal investigators. Max sentence 20 years.
Charge 36 is an attempt to obstruct justice by lying to federal investigators about the possession of classified documents. Max sentence 20 years.
Charge 37 is related to making false statements to federal investigators when they asked about top secrete documents, and if the 45th president had them.
There ya have it. Laid out bare.
Donald Trump is finally going to be held accountable. Finally. America may be salvageable yet.
Make no mistake, there will be a tidal wave of dissent, and attempts to discredit these charges, as well as utter lunatics who are so buried by propaganda that they will consider violence to be an appropriate response to a criminal being held accountable for his crimes, but regardless of how reactionaries respond to this, they are hopeless in the idea that Trump will ever be an American leader again.
